• A selection of available bikes are made ready at our location every day on a first-come first-served basis, thus: 
• Same-day rentals may be available, but are not guaranteed.
• Reservations are strongly recommended in advance to ensure availability. 

Rentbike.ca operates as a flexible side-business.

• Unless booked in advance, in-person assistance is not guaranteed, particularly during business hours (9AM-5PM on business days)!
• During these times, response delays may occur due to other rentals or commitments.
• For the smoothest experience, book a reasonable time in advance.
• We are most available by text at 705-888-7065!

• A selection of bikes are made ready at our location every day on a first-come first-served basis, thus:
• Reserving bikes in advance is also an option, and recommended to ensure availability!
• Just text 705-888-7065 to get access to the bikes - tell us which bikes and how long. They will be ready for you at our location, 6 Hickory Street, Collingwood.
• Square payment links will be sent and access details (lock codes) are provided after payment.

• Specific bike models can be reserved in advance if available.
• Otherwise, bikes are recommended based on: 
  • Availability 
  • Rider height/fit

• Bikes must be returned: 
  • On time 
  • To the same location they were picked up
  • Properly locked
• Rental Duration Extensions may be requested, but 
  • are not guaranteed
  • depend on bike availability

We have a very flexible refund policy since we require payment upfront for bookings.

• Payments are fully refundable until bikes are taken. 
• If you've already paid but cancel your booking, we will make a full refund.
• Rental time begins at the booked time, not arrival time.
• Late arrivals do not extend rental duration or qualify for refunds.

All bikes are regularly maintained, inspected and ready to go prior to riding. In the event of a mechanical issue:

Breakdowns (Major Issues) 

If a bike becomes unrideable, we will offer: 

• A partial or full refund, depending on how much of the rental was affected, or
• A replacement bike (if a bike is available and we can deliver it to you).

Minor Issues or Inconveniences

• Gear slipping 
• Brake noise 
• Seat discomfort or minor adjustments needed 

These do not qualify for refunds, but we try to help and provide a solution if we are available.

No refunds are made for rider related issues (e.g., improper use, discomfort unrelated to bike function). Refund decisions are made case-by-case, based on the severity and impact of the issue. 

If we find damage to a bike that isn't a result of a breakdown, we may ask for compensation.
